This policy explains what personal data LeanPad Technologies (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, leanpad-tech.com, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website only. Our software products are described in their own terms.
Who is responsible
LeanPad Technologies is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email contact@leanpad-tech.com.
The short version
- We don’t use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- We only collect personal data when you choose to contact us, and we use it only to reply.
- We don’t sell or share your data for marketing.
What we collect and why
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive:
- your name, your work email address and, if you give it, your company;
- your message, and anything else you choose to include.
We use this only to answer you and to follow up on what you asked about, for example a quote, a demo or a project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and, where you ask about our products or services, steps taken at your request before a possible contract. The tick box on the form confirms you agree to us using your details for this.
Messages from the form are sent to us by email. The form also has a hidden field that people don’t see; it is only used to recognise automated spam, which is discarded.
When you visit the website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and protects them from attacks. Like any web server, it necessarily processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We don’t use this data to identify you. Cloudflare may keep short-lived technical logs for security and to keep the service running, and Cloudflare keeps logs of the contact form’s requests and errors for up to seven days so we can fix problems.
Stored in your browser
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings. We set no cookies.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, they do so under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and our correspondence with you for as long as needed to deal with your request and any business relationship that follows, and delete them no later than two years after our last exchange, unless we must keep them longer by law (for example invoices and contracts).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, and in particular under the EU and UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it or to delete it;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- complain to your local data protection authority.

Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our inbox is limited to the people who need it to answer you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
